H Mart

In celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year, Heather & I decided to venture out to Cary to the highly recommended H Mart. The H Mart is an Asian-American supermarket chain that has a location in Cary. Not only can you buy nearly anything Asian at this supermarket, but there is also a food court. The H Mart Food Court has many authentic options for Korean, Japanese, Thai and Asian cuisine. It is a very casual setting. After looking around, we had a hard time trying to decide on what meal we wanted to try but we finally decided on the Thai Pantry. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken (I love spicy anything) and Heather ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken and vegetables. We also shared an order of the Crab Rangoons, which is one of our favorite treats. It was delicious! I felt like we had taken a flight to Asia for dinner. As we were eating, we were taken back by the different types of food that were being ordered around us. Everything looked very appetizing and like an adventure worth trying. As we finished our meal, we decided to walk around the super market for a bit to see what all it had to offer. We quickly noticed that anything you would want or need regarding Asian cuisine was in this store. We did buy a few products to try at home in our own recipes but we cannot wait to return to the store and food court to explore more worldly tastes!
