Is there really anything better than a low-key, sunny, warm North Carolina beach weekend!? I don’t think so either. Heather and I were able to recently spend the weekend in Wrightsville Beach for a nice kickoff to Spring! Of course, while we were there, we found great food! Heather previously lived in the Wilmington area so whenever we are there, we have to get a sandwich at Sweet & Savory. They have an extensive menu of salads and sandwiches. Heather’s favorite is the Johnny Appleseed (seen in the picture).
Since the weather was so nice, we were able to enjoy lunch on the deck of The Fish House. I ordered the tuna sandwich and Heather got the Mahi Mahi. So delicious! Get the curly fries! Be sure to get there early on a nice day! It will be busy but worth the wait.
Based on a friend’s recommendation, we made a dinner reservation at the French restaurant, Brassiere Du Soleil. The ambience on the outdoor patio was very romantic. The food was unique, fresh and quite good! The service was also excellent. We partook in everything from the bread, salad, appetizer, entrees and dessert. Go hungry!
